Recension: Europakonferensen 2012

Förbönens kraft
- Marcus Birro i Världen idag - "Något av det mäktigaste i den kristna tron är förbönen. Att få vara föremål för andra, främmande människors andliga omsorger. Det är stort."

Judar närmare släkt än man tidigare trott
- Dagens Nyheter - "Jag visste inte vad vi kunde förvänta oss. Men jag är överraskad över att det finns en så stark biologisk bas för det judiska, säger forskningsledaren Harry Ostrer vid Albert Einstein College of Medicine i New York, USA.
Han och hans kollegor påpekar att det länge debatterats om judarna verkligen är ett folk, förenat av blodsband, eller om de är en disparat samling människor som i huvudsak har sin tro gemensam. Nu konstaterar de att det förstnämnda är det mest riktiga."

Who Cares?

Here and there were some who actually jumped into the water, regardless of all the consequences, in their passion to "rescue the perishing." As I looked on, I saw that the occupants of that platform were quite a mixed company. That is, they were divided into different "sets" or classes, and they occupied themselves with different pleasures and employments.
